Eyebrows
Eyebrows are the most important feature of your face. They frame the eyes and give the face emotions and expressions!
The Ombré / Powder Brows
This is a form of a powder technique that replicates the look of your eyebrow pencil. Ombre has a gradient where it goes lighter at the center of the eyebrow and gradually gets darker towards the center and ends of the brow; while powder is the same color throughout the brow.
This look provides additional soft definition to beautifully accentuate your eyes and is especially helpful to those with oily skin types. Ombre or Powder Brows are meant to create a diffused powder look much like makeup. They do not incorporate hair strokes and are best for clients that desire a fuller-looking brow or for those that have existing brow hair but want to add base color. This technique is NOT the same as a solid 'block tattoo' eyebrows. No more filling in your brows! This is a machine technique which achieves a natural soft powder look. Thousands of dots of custom blended, the hypo-allergenic pigment is implanted layer by layer producing a gradient of color from dark to light. This mimics the natural color progression of the brow from the tail and the core to the bulb. Ombre is a technique that is great for those with oily skin, aging skin, acne prone skin, sensitive skin and even those who have had previous permanent makeup. Prior to the procedure we will shape and customize your brows to a size and shape that complements your facial features and brings out your eyes. We will also select a color that best matches your natural complexion and skin tone baring in mind undertones and skin conditions. Topical anesthetics are applied before and during the procedure to keep pain and discomfort to a minimum. The procedure requires approximately two hours and there is no “down time”. A touch up is required 6-12 weeks after the initial procedure. After that, touch-ups are recommended yearly to maintain color richness and shape.
Please note:
For the first 10-12 days, eyebrows will appear darker, bolder, and thicker due to scab formation and the natural skin healing process of the immune system. This is common and to be expected for all permanent makeup procedures.
Permanent Makeup FAQ:
For EYELINER: If you wear contact lenses, bring your glasses with you and plan on using your glasses for at least the next 4 days. For LIPLINER or FULL LIP COLOR: If you have ever had a cold sore or fever blisters in your life, we suggest that you obtain a 10-day oral prescription for Zovirax, Aclovir, Valtrex or Famvir capsules (an antiviral medication) from your physician or dentist and begin taking them 5 days prior to this procedure and continue taking them 5 days after. Once the procedure has taken place it is also necessary to shield the lips from the sun for 5-7 days to prevent blisters from occurring.
